Good Choices Matter — Galatians 6:7

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”  Galatians 6:7 (NIV)

Every day, we make small choices.

What to say.
How to act.
How to respond.

Most of the time, they don’t feel big.

But over time…
Those small choices begin to shape something much bigger.

They shape our lives.

Imagine planting seeds.

If you plant kindness,
you begin to see kindness grow around you.

If you plant patience,
peace begins to follow.

But if you plant anger or dishonesty,
those things grow too.

That’s what this verse means:

“You reap what you sow.”

It’s not about punishment.

It’s about truth.

What we choose today
becomes what we experience tomorrow.

For children, this looks very real and simple.

✨ Choosing to tell the truth
✨ Choosing to be kind
✨ Choosing to listen
✨ Choosing to try again

These may seem small—
but they are powerful seeds.

And here’s something important.

Good choices don’t always feel easy right away.

Sometimes:

💭 Being honest feels uncomfortable
💭 Being kind takes effort
💭 Doing the right thing feels slow

But over time…

those choices build something beautiful.

Confidence grows.
Trust grows.
Peace grows.

And slowly, life begins to feel stronger, steadier, and brighter.

That’s what “better life” really means.

Not perfect.
But built on good choices.

For parents and families, this truth is just as meaningful.

Because we are not just raising children—

We are helping them plant seeds
that will shape their future.
